Our team at Jacob’s Ladder understands the dangers that the current pandemic poses to our loved ones in end-of-life care. We’ve taken precautions advised by the Centers for Disease Control and Springfield-Greene County Health Department to ensure the health and safety of our residents. At this time, only Jacob’s Ladder care staff and authorized hospice personnel are permitted to enter the dwelling.
We know how important it is for those nearing the end of life to have contact with those they love. Immediate family members wishing to visit their loved ones in our care, are invited to schedule outdoor visits in a comfortable and shaded setting. Guest temperatures are checked and logged, and masking and social distancing are required during your time together.
Those experiencing illness or infection will not be permitted to visit and guests are limited to two at a time. If more than two family members plan to visit, we ask that you rotate your visits to help minimize the risk of exposure.
